Arts & Crafts Club ~ Events

Note that all 2022 General Meetings will be held in the Morris-Nelson Room at Independence Center. Refreshments will be served and there will also be door prizes!

The Arts & Crafts Club Board meets in the Liberty Center conference room.

A meeting is scheduled for members to provide input and volunteer to help with decorations and door prizes for the Holiday Party On December 5th. The meeting will take place in the Penn Room in the Independence Center.

Come and meet your fellow new members. New members will be familiarized with all club operations. Policies and Procedures will be covered along with the design of the room and its contents. You will learn how to join a group and who to contact with questions regarding group activities.

The ACC Board meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 1pm at the Liberty Center Conference Room. 

The Holiday Lunch has been scheduled for December 5th starting at 11am. Located at Macdonalds Ranch Community Center. A  hot buffet served by the Willows Restaurant at Sun City Macdonald Ranch. includes: Salad, chicken ,beef, pasta, green beans, roast potatoes and desert. The cost is $15 a person. To pay for your meal place you money in a sealed envelope along with your name and association number on the  outside of the  envelope. Your envelope should be deposited in the treasurers box in the craft room. Lots of door prizes will be offered.


The SCA Club Fair will be held December 3rd, 9am -Noon. ACC will reserve tables. 

Arts and Crafts will be joining Woodchips and Billiards for an open house. There will be tours and demos in club rooms. Our woodcarvers will demo their skills in the courtyard. Also food trucks, & libations, music ,prizes are offered. One highlight will be a vintage car show for residents.  ACC will also have tables for selling in the Morris/Penn room. Since there are only a few tables available in the Morris Penn room Woodchips chair of this committee, Gary Fox, suggested we should open the ACC room and use more tables for selling and demonstrating if you wish.  If wishing to sell you need to have a sales/display contract and number and give 10% to the club.
